God Of War

You control a lone warrior, moving through side-scrolling levels filled with skeletons and other creatures. The moment-to-moment play is about clearing each screen. You use basic movement to navigate, a standard attack to slash at enemies, and a guard button to block incoming strikes. Your main objective is simply to survive from one end of the stage to the other, fighting everything in your path. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the sheer number of foes you face at once. It feels like a relentless, noisy brawl where you are constantly swinging your sword.
