About Glops Melee

Glops Melee was one of those simple, absorbing games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything grand, just a solid puzzle experience you could pick up and play in a browser window. The game had a clean, almost minimalist look that felt typical for the time, focusing your attention on the task at hand without unnecessary clutter.

You control a cursor that picks up colored blocks, or glops, from a central column. Your job is to drop each block into one of two side columns, left or right, to create matching groups of three or more of the same color. The core challenge is balancing both columns; if one side gets too full, the game ends. You're constantly scanning the upcoming blocks, making quick decisions about where to place each piece to maintain that equilibrium. The pace starts gently but builds tension as the columns fill, demanding faster choices. It feels like a quiet, focused race against your own stacking decisions.
