About Glom
You control a cursor that grabs and moves colored balls around the screen. Your main task is to merge balls of the same color by dragging one onto another; they combine into a larger ball. The core loop involves clearing space by matching these balls and then dragging the resulting, larger spheres off the edge of the play area to score points. The size of the ball you remove determines your score, so there's a constant push to create bigger combinations before you run out of room. The game starts calmly but the pace picks up as the screen fills, creating a quiet tension. It feels like organizing a cluttered desk, where each successful match and clear-away brings a small, satisfying sense of order.
