About Frag Assault
Frag Assault was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find in the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, functional game you could load in a browser. The graphics were simple, the controls were basic, and it fit right into that category of games you played for a few minutes between other tasks.
You control a soldier from a top-down perspective, moving with the WASD keys. Your goal is to clear each room of enemy soldiers. You shoot with the mouse, aiming directly at targets. You can switch weapons, likely with the Q key, and throw grenades with the spacebar. The action is constant; enemies appear from doorways and corners, forcing you to keep moving and shooting. The difficulty comes from being surrounded and managing your limited ammunition. It feels like a tense, methodical sweep through hostile territory.
