About Final Defense
Final Defense was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, engaging way to spend a few minutes. You were just a turret, a fixed point in the middle of the screen, and everything was coming for you.
You control a stationary gun with your mouse, rotating to aim at waves of geometric enemies that swarm from all sides. Your only job is to stop them from reaching your central base. You click to fire, managing a simple reload cycle, and often prioritize targets based on their speed or proximity. The pace starts calmly but builds into a frantic scramble as the screen fills with shapes. It feels like a focused, almost meditative kind of panic, where your entire world shrinks to the cursor and the next shot.
