About Easy Cruise One
Easy Cruise One was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the mid-2000s, a simple simulation about piloting a cruise ship. It didn't try to be anything more than a straightforward task of navigation, fitting right in with the era's casual, browser based offerings.
You control the ship from a top down view, using the arrow keys to steer and the A and S keys to fire side thrusters for careful adjustments. Your job is to guide the vessel into a highlighted dock at each port, fighting against persistent wind that constantly pushes you off course. The main objective is to complete each docking maneuver within a strict time limit, maintaining a schedule for the unseen passengers. If you crash into the dock or surrounding objects five times in a level, or if the timer runs out, you lose a life and restart the stage. The pacing is steady but tense, as the wind forces you to plan each move and use small thruster bursts to correct your angle. It feels like a constant, gentle struggle against the elements.
