Easy-bake Cake Decorating

Easy-bake Cake Decorating was one of those simple Flash games you'd find on a cooking site in the late 2000s. It fit right in with other browser based games where you could spend a few minutes on a straightforward task. The game didn't try to be complicated. It was just about making a cake look nice.

You control a cursor to handle each step. First you level the cake layers, then add filling and spread icing. The game gives you tools for piping decorations and adding glazes or sprinkles. Your main goal is to follow the recipe instructions to complete a presentable cake before time runs out. The pace is relaxed. There's no real penalty for mistakes, so you can take your time smoothing frosting or placing candy pieces. It feels like a quiet, methodical activity rather than a challenging game.
