About Dragon Vector
Dragon Vector was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached to it, but it had a clear, simple premise that pulled you in. You were just a lone ship against waves of strange, organic-looking enemies, and that was enough.
You control a small, angular craft with the mouse, moving it freely and firing automatically at whatever is closest. Your main goal is to survive the onslaught, clearing each wave to progress. The key mechanic is switching between different elemental weapons, each represented by a number key; you might use fire against one type of enemy, then quickly switch to ice for another. You also have a limited supply of screen-clearing bombs for tight situations. The pacing is relentless, with enemies swarming from all sides, making constant movement and quick weapon changes essential. It feels like a frantic, colorful scramble where a single mistake can end your run.
