About Disc Golf

Disc Golf was one of those simple, clever games that felt right at home in the Flash era. It captured the basic idea of the sport without any fuss, letting you play a quick round from your browser. The game came out in 2003, developed by a creator known as Jayisgames.

You control a single disc from a top-down perspective. Your main task is to get it into the target basket in as few throws as possible, navigating around trees and other obstacles on the course. The core mechanic involves clicking and holding on the disc, then dragging your mouse to set both the power and the angle of your throw before releasing. You need to account for wind, which is shown on screen, and plan your shots to avoid ricocheting off the scenery. The pacing is deliberate, requiring a bit of thought for each shot, but the rounds are short. It feels like a quiet, focused puzzle where a slight miscalculation can send your disc veering into the woods.
