About Crayon Shin Chan Adventure
You control Shin Chan from a side view, moving left and right with the arrow keys. The main goal is to get from the start of each stage to the end, which usually means walking to the right. Along the way, his transformed friends, like Bo-chan or Kazama, come at you. You can jump over them, but the primary way to deal with them is to shoot. Pressing the space bar makes Shin Chan fire his projectiles, which look like little energy balls or scribbles. You have to time your shots while avoiding their attacks, which often means jumping and shooting at the same time. The game moves at a quick pace, and the difficulty comes from the number of enemies and their placement. It feels like a brisk, slightly chaotic scramble to clear a path and make it to the door or goal at the end of the screen.
