About Combat Instinct 2

Combat Instinct 2 was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, intense shootout in your browser. The game came out in 2008, developed by a creator known as Diko. It fit right in with other simple, single-screen combat games from that time.

You control a lone soldier stranded after a crash. The moment-to-moment play is about aiming with your mouse and firing at waves of alien creatures that approach from all sides. Your main objective is to survive each wave by eliminating every enemy. You can press the spacebar to take cover behind low walls, which blocks incoming fire but limits your own shots. The pacing is relentless; the difficulty builds quickly as more enemies spawn and their attacks become harder to dodge. The game feels like a tense, claustrophobic fight for survival where a single mistake can end your run.
