About Capoeira

Capoeira was one of those Flash games you'd find buried in a directory somewhere around 2005. It was a simple fighting game, built on the kind of vector graphics that were common for the time. You didn't need a manual or a tutorial; you just clicked and started.

You control a lone fighter in a small arena. The goal is straightforward: reduce your opponent's health bar to zero before they do the same to you. You move with the arrow keys, using 'A' to throw a punch, 'S' to kick, and 'D' to block incoming attacks. The moves are basic, but they have a certain weight to them. The pacing is quick, with rounds often ending in a flurry of button presses. It can feel a bit stiff at first, and the difficulty comes more from the game's simple, relentless AI than from complex mechanics. Playing it feels like a quick, unpolished test of reflexes.
