About Bubbels 2
Bubbels 2 was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't try to be complicated. You just loaded it in your browser and started playing. The screen showed a neat grid of colored bubbles hanging from the top, and you were at the bottom with a launcher. The goal was simple, but it kept you focused.
You control a cannon at the screen's bottom, aiming with your mouse. A colored bubble is always loaded and ready. With a click, you shoot it up into the existing mass. Your main job is to stop that creeping wall of bubbles from reaching the bottom line. You do this by making matches. If you connect three or more bubbles of the same color, they pop and disappear. A helpful trick is that when you clear a section, any bubbles dangling below that group also fall away, which can create satisfying chain reactions. The pace is steady, with the ceiling slowly descending to add pressure. It feels methodical, a quiet test of your aim and planning before the next bubble drops into place.
