About Bloomix
Bloomix was one of those simple, absorbing games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a straightforward puzzle, and that was its strength. You'd load it up in your browser, and for a few minutes, everything else faded away.
You control a cursor, clicking on groups of flowers. The goal is to clear the board by removing all the colored blooms. The mechanics are immediate: you click two or more adjacent flowers of the same color, and they vanish, letting the pieces above fall into place. Planning a few moves ahead becomes important as the board empties, because creating larger matches yields more points. The pace is steady, neither frantic nor slow, but it demands a bit of thought as options narrow. It feels like quietly tidying a disordered garden, one satisfying click at a time.
