About Blockade Blitz
Blockade Blitz was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It took the basic idea of controlling a paddle to bounce a ball and added a lot more to do. The screen was usually filled with blocks, monsters, and collectible items, which kept things from getting repetitive.
You control a paddle at the bottom of the screen with your mouse, deflecting a single ball upward to break everything in its path. Your main goal is to clear each stage by shattering all the blocks and gathering every puzzle piece scattered among them. Along the way, you hit power-up capsules that change the ball's behavior or give you extra abilities, and you also fend off monsters that drop down to disrupt your paddle. The pace is steady, with difficulty coming from managing these different elements at once. It feels like a busy, cluttered puzzle where your focus constantly shifts between attack and defense.
