About Baby Kicker
Baby Kicker was one of those strange, simple games that felt right at home in the Flash era. You'd find it on sites packed with quick distractions, a game that didn't ask for much explanation. It came out in 2005, a time when a weird concept and basic controls were enough to pull you in for a few minutes. The developer, Orisinal, was known for these kinds of gentle, often surreal, browser games.
You control a small, cartoonish character on a grassy hill. Your only tool is a kicking foot. Babies slide down the slope toward you, and you click to boot them into the air. The goal is to kick as many as you can before the timer ends. Sometimes you'll punt a baby into a floating cloud for extra points, or you might kick one so hard it smashes through a wooden sign. The pacing is steady, not frantic, but it gets trickier as the babies come faster. You find a rhythm in the clicking, watching the little figures arc through the sky. It feels oddly peaceful, despite the silly premise.
