About Archachain
Archachain was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash, a puzzle title that felt a bit more deliberate than the quick time-wasters. It didn't have the widespread recognition of some others, but it built a small, dedicated following for its particular kind of challenge. The game presented a clean, almost minimalist interface that focused your attention on the board.
You control a cursor, placing colored orbs onto a grid to start chain reactions. The main goal is to clear the board by creating matches, but the core mechanic is the chain itself; one match causes others to fall and potentially create new matches in a satisfying cascade. You manage an upgrade system between levels, choosing which orb colors or abilities to enhance for future puzzles. The pace is thoughtful, requiring you to plan several moves ahead, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as new orb types and board obstacles are introduced. It feels like quietly untangling a complex, colorful knot.
