About Alpha Sector

Alpha Sector was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find in the later days of Flash gaming. It didn't try to be anything more than a test of endurance, a simple arena where you either survived or you didn't. The presentation was clean and functional, with a clear top-down view that let you see everything coming your way, for better or worse.

You control a lone soldier trapped in a single, rectangular arena. Your job is to survive wave after wave of robotic enemies that pour in from the edges of the screen. Movement is handled with the WASD keys, and you aim and fire your weapon with the mouse. A key part of the game is managing the twenty different weapons you can pick up, each with its own rate of fire and power, which drop from defeated foes. The main objective is simply to last as long as possible, as the enemies become faster and more numerous with each passing second. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty climbs steadily, leaving little room for error. It feels like a tense, escalating scramble for survival where every second counts.
