About All Hallows Eve
All Hallows Eve came out during the Flash era, a time when simple browser games could offer a surprising amount of tension. You find yourself defending a lonely mansion on Halloween night, with the clear goal of stopping the dead from getting inside.
You control a cursor, essentially your aim, clicking on zombies as they shuffle from the edges of the screen toward your front door. The moment to moment play is about prioritization; you pick off the closest threats while managing the growing horde. The game starts slowly, letting you learn the rhythm, but the waves quickly become relentless. Later levels demand constant clicking and sharp attention as the paths fill with more numerous and faster enemies. It feels like a frantic, solitary stand against an inevitable tide.
