About Air Blobs
Air Blobs was one of those simple, absorbing games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a straightforward puzzle, which was part of its appeal. You'd load it up in a browser window, and for a few minutes, everything else would fade away.
You control a cursor that picks up and moves colored blobs around a grid. Your goal is to clear the board by lining up three or more matching blobs in a row, either horizontally or vertically. When you make a match, the blobs vanish, and every blob you clear adds a second back to a constantly ticking timer. The game pushes you to think ahead, to set up chain reactions where one disappearance triggers another for a bigger score. The normal and hard modes introduce a real pressure as the timer counts down faster. It feels like a quiet race against yourself, a test of quick pattern recognition under a gentle, persistent clock.
