About Agent Cool

Agent Cool was one of those games you'd find in the early 2000s, a time when Flash games were a regular part of browsing the web. It fit right in with other simple action titles from that era, offering a quick dose of sci-fi combat without much fuss. You played as the titular agent, a lone figure tasked with holding back an extraterrestrial threat.

You control the agent from a side view, moving left and right with the arrow keys and jumping to navigate platforms. The core loop involves aiming your weapon with the mouse cursor and firing at the aliens that swarm in from both sides of the screen. You can switch between different guns, like a standard pistol and a more powerful rifle, to handle various enemies. The objective is straightforward: survive the waves and defeat the invaders before they overwhelm you. The pace is constant, with enemies appearing frequently enough to keep you on edge, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as you progress. It feels like a tense, reactive scramble where your focus is split between movement, aiming, and managing your limited ammo.
