101 Dalmatians Card Battles

You play against the computer, each of you holding a hand of numbered cards. A new card from the deck is revealed each turn; it might be a puppy or a villain. You both secretly choose a card from your hand to bid on it. The higher bid wins the puppy, but the loser is stuck taking a Cruella card. Your final score is the total of your puppies, minus one for each Cruella card you collected. The game moves quickly, with each round requiring a quick decision on which card to risk. It feels like a light, tactical scramble to build your line of puppies while avoiding the penalties.
