Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego Deluxe

Where in the USA Is Carmen Sandiego? (Deluxe Edition) is a remake featuring enhanced audiovisual elements. The player assumes the role of an agent tasked with tracking a criminal across the United States.

Gameplay involves receiving an initial briefing on the crime, the suspect, and a time limit. To progress, the agent must gather clues by interacting with various sources. These sources provide geographical hints, but these refer to broader places rather than specific cities available for travel.

This requires the player to interpret clues and conduct research to determine the correct destination. A warrant, obtained through accumulated evidence, is a mandatory prerequisite for making an arrest. The investigation cycle of gathering clues and traveling repeats until the suspect is apprehended.

A detailed map interface allows for closer inspection of individual states, their topography, and neighboring regions. The process of deduction and travel presents a challenging investigative loop.
