Where in the U.S.A. is Carmen Sandiego? (Enhanced)

Where in the U.S.A. is Carmen Sandiego? (Enhanced) is a detective game where the player, as an ACME agent, pursues Carmen Sandiego's gang across the United States. The core activity involves traveling between locations to follow suspects, using witness-provided clues that require knowledge of U.S. geography and history to interpret.

Progress is made by gathering evidence from these investigations, which ultimately allows for the arrest of a criminal. This version includes several technical enhancements such as VGA graphics, support for network play, and compatibility with a mouse or joystick. Suspect descriptions are also presented in greater detail.

The narrative premise establishes that Carmen, having escaped from a European jail, has come to America to steal national treasures. The player's objective is to track her and her associates to prevent these thefts.
