About Ween: The Prophecy

The Prophecy is a point and click adventure set in a fantasy world. The player controls a wizard named Ween, who is considered good, and must complete a quest within a strict three day limit to defeat an evil wizard.

Progress involves solving puzzles to acquire three grains of sand, which must be placed into an hourglass to fulfill the prophecy. The cursor highlights interactive objects, making the challenges on each screen fair to identify. The design shares a simplified interface and a focus on self contained puzzles with the developer's Gobliiins series.

Graphically, the game employs a faux sepia tone for exterior areas and brighter colors indoors, altering the atmosphere. On two occasions, the player selects between different paths, each presenting unique puzzles.
