About Transylvania III: Vanquish the Night

Following the events of a previous adventure, the protagonist finds himself stranded in a region called Slavaria. This land, situated north of Transylvania, has fallen under the control of a new vampire lord after the defeat of the previous one. The player's central objective is to eliminate this supernatural threat.

The gameplay involves navigating a large number of locations, interacting with a variety of characters and creatures. These range from deceptive townspeople to monstrous entities and even benign wildlife. Assistance can be gained by helping others, and exploration is key, including searching an Egyptian museum for items or navigating a complex maze.

A specific survival mechanic involves managing fatigue. The player must sleep in secure locations; failing to do so risks a nightmare that leaves marks on the neck. Repeating this failure three times results in the character's death, making the overall experience challenging. The narrative begins with the protagonist separated from his companion and seeking answers about her fate.
