About The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book is an 8-bit DOS game based on the Disney animated film. Players guide Mowgli through various levels as he attempts to reach a human village, navigating environments by climbing vines and performing jumps.

Enemies encountered include monkeys that throw coconuts, snakes, and vampire bats. Mowgli's primary means of defense is throwing bananas, which can be aimed in eight directions. Power-ups like boomerangs can be discovered hidden within banana bunches.

Level objectives vary; some require collecting eight scattered gems within a time limit, while others task the player with finding the panther Bagheera. Boss confrontations with characters from the film, such as the snake Kaa, are also featured. The player begins with four lives and no continues, making the game challenging, though special collectibles can grant extra lives and continues.
