About Pushover

Pushover is a puzzle platformer where the player controls an ant navigating an unusual anthill. The objective is to locate and retrieve bags of cookies for a dog friend, with each level containing one to be brought back.

Gameplay centers on manipulating boulders of various types to clear paths. These blocks have distinct properties: some can be pushed and will topple others in a chain, while immovable ones will reverse a falling brick's direction. Other varieties may explode on impact, spin continuously, or adhere to ceilings to alter the falling sequence. The core puzzle involves arranging these elements so that triggering a specific brick causes a domino effect, with the final block in the line falling last to open an exit.

Control is typical for the genre, using arrow keys or a joystick from a side-view perspective. The game features a time limit for each stage, making completion challenging. Progress is saved via level-specific codes provided upon completion. Environmental hazards exist, as the ant can be harmed by falling from too great a height, requiring the level to be restarted.
