Oliver & Company

Review
Also known as
Oliver & Company

This platformer tasks you with collecting items and avoiding obstacles across New York to score 1000 points per level, though its repetitive design lacks Disney's usual depth.

Oliver & Company for DOS was developed by Coktel Vision and published by Nathan Logiciels in 1989, which is also the earliest release of the game on any platform.

About Oliver & Company

Oliver & Compagnie is a side-scrolling arcade game based on the Disney film. Players control the kitten Oliver, navigating environments like city streets, a dog gang's hideout, and a wealthy girl's mansion.

The objective is to accumulate 1,000 points to advance between levels. Points are earned by gathering food items found in the setting, specifically hot dogs and flying dog biscuits.

The narrative follows the movie's plot, where the homeless Oliver joins a group of dogs and their impoverished owner in New York. Control is managed through a combination of keyboard and mouse inputs.
