About Mick

Mick is a DOS game where a boy must rescue his friend after a witch transforms them both. The setting is a pastoral village and a forest containing a castle.

The core objective involves escaping the castle and defeating the witch. To do this, the player must first restore Mick to his human form, which is necessary for basic actions like climbing ladders.

Progression relies on finding magic potions that can reverse the witch's spells on captured animals. Successfully returning a creature to its natural form yields a gem, granting Mick the ability to transform into that animal. Each animal form provides a specific ability, such as jumping great distances or accessing narrow spaces, which unlocks new areas.

Only the human form can use ladders, creating a puzzle element where the player must switch between forms. The journey involves exploring the castle, using these transformations strategically, and ultimately confronting the witch to save Masha.
