Review
Also known as
Murder Death Kill 亡命暗殺令 孤胆枪手

This third-person shooter challenges you to save Earth from alien streams as Kurt Hectic, using a unique sniper mode and stealth mechanics.

MDK was originally released for Windows and MS-DOS in 1997 by Shiny Entertainment and Interplay Productions. The DOS version shares the same 1997 release year as the original game.

About MDK

MDK is a 3D shoot 'em up where the player controls Kurt, a character tasked with defending Earth from alien invasion. The primary threat consists of eight massive fortresses dispatched to destroy the planet.

Kurt's battle suit provides key abilities, including a parachute and a helmet with a sniper interface for precise aiming when stationary. His standard armament is a machine gun arm, with additional weapons unlocked during the campaign.

Gameplay involves navigating six missions across unusual environments, combining gunplay against enemies called Stream Riders with platforming. The need for precise jumps contributes to a challenging experience.
