About In the Dead of Night

In the Dead of Night casts the player as private investigator Tom Scool, who initially accepts a job to steal a valuable gem from an actress's remote chalet. This premise is complicated by a murder and a snowstorm that isolates the location, forcing a shift in objectives from theft to investigation.

Gameplay involves interacting with the other characters stranded at the chalet, each designed with distinct personalities. Progress is made by discovering personal weaknesses through conversation and by managing a collection of usable items. The player must independently work to solve the murder before authorities can arrive.

The software includes support for both English and Italian language options.
