Genewars is a real-time strategy title where players undertake missions across multiple planets. These objectives can include tasks such as eradicating opposing forces or engaging in the creation of specific creatures.
The setting incorporates human elements but leans toward a fantastical rather than realistic tone. Participants can select their faction from a roster that includes humans and other species. Network play supports competition for up to four individuals.
