About Dragon’s Lair: Escape from Singe’s Castle

Dragon's Lair: Escape from Singe's Castle is the second half of a complete adventure, concluding the story begun in the first part. The narrative follows the knight Dirk the Daring as he attempts to rescue Princess Daphne from the dragon Singe.

Player interaction is based on timing and reaction. Success requires inputting specific controller directions or action commands at precise moments to navigate hazards and enemies, making the gameplay challenging. The perspective is third-person, showing Dirk's actions on screen.

This installment was created separately due to technical constraints of the era, specifically limited disk and memory space, which necessitated splitting the original arcade game into two releases.
