About Dark Legions

Dark Legions is a DOS title that blends strategic planning with direct combat. The setting is the dark realm of Tahr Carog, where a lost power orb has created a conflict between two holders of these artifacts.

Players begin by assembling an army, spending a set amount of credits on a roster of sixteen distinct characters. This initial selection can also include traps and rings that enhance purchased creatures. The core conflict plays out on a game board where forces engage either a computer or another human.

When opposing pieces meet on the main board, the resolution shifts to a separate arena for a direct fight. The overarching goal is to defeat the opponent and seize their power orb, with the victor gaining ultimate power and immortality. Success depends on challenging tactical decisions in both army composition and the execution of battles.
