About Crazy Cows

Crazy Cows is a turn-based strategy game where two symmetrical teams, the Grey Cows and the Brown Cows, engage in combat on a single large map. The core objective is to eliminate the opposing herd.

Gameplay is segmented into movement and combat phases. Units spend Movement Points to traverse the terrain, which contains scattered weapons like katanas and shotguns. A cow's capabilities are defined by any weapon it picks up, transforming its role; a katana creates a melee-focused Ninja Cow, while a shotgun yields a ranged-attack Mean Cow Punk.

The battlefield features fog of war, requiring exploration to reveal areas and establish line of sight. Once uncovered, these areas remain visible. Strategic positioning is possible for both defensive and offensive purposes.

Combat mechanics are directly tied to a unit's acquired weapon. Ninja Cows must be adjacent to an enemy to attack, whereas shotgun-wielding cows can engage targets at a distance, provided they have visual contact.

In this scenario there are two different weapon types (other scenarios may have various weapons) - A cow with a katana and a cow with a shotgun. Cows that don't have weapons have to look for weapons by walking on the same square where the weapons are.
One of the custom scenarios for one or two players. An unarmed cow en route to pick a bazooka.
Scuba cows can swim but don't have a powerful attack.
