About Burntime

Burntime is set in a post-apocalyptic world where deserts dominate and cities lie in ruins. The objective for the player is to achieve global dominance, competing directly against three other characters who share this ambition.

Gameplay involves traversing a multi-screen map that displays the positions of all rivals, their controlled territories, and major locations. The player's own vital status is also tracked here. While five major cities exist as neutral zones free from conflict, control can be established over various other settlements like factories, camps, and urban ruins.

Interactions with computer-controlled characters form a core activity. These individuals, who include fighters, engineers, and doctors, can be recruited to form a party. Each party member can carry a limited inventory of items, such as food and weapons, which are generated by the settlements under the player's command. Encounters also allow for trading news and goods.
