About Battle Chess 4000

Battle Chess 4000 is a futuristic science fiction adaptation of chess. Its primary distinction is the use of animated sequences that depict combat between pieces, a feature carried over from earlier series entries but here realized with clay models.

The software includes a strategic component where its artificial intelligence adapts by learning a player's tactics during a match. For traditional play, a two dimensional mode is available as an alternative to the animated view. The game's library contains a substantial number of predefined openings, totaling over thirty thousand distinct moves.
