About Bandit Kings of Ancient China

Bandit Kings of Ancient China is a military strategy title set during the fall of the Song Dynasty. The central conflict involves deposing the usurper Gao Qiu, who has seized power from Emperor Hui Zhong following a rebellion.

Players begin from a position of weakness, controlling an exiled ruler who must gradually build strength. This involves securing territory through conquest, engaging in battles, and forming political alliances. The ultimate objective is to restore the rightful emperor, but the final confrontation is challenging and requires significant preparation.

Directly assaulting Gao Qiu's stronghold is prohibited until sufficient power has been amassed. Progression is therefore measured, focusing on expanding influence from smaller prefectures upward.
