About B.A.T. 2 : The Koshan Conspiracy

B.A.T. 2 : The Koshan Conspiracy is a futuristic role-playing game set primarily in ROMA 2, a major city on the planet Shedishan. The player assumes the role of agent Jehan Menais, a member of the Bureau of Astral Troubleshooters, who is investigating the murder of a fellow agent linked to a mysterious raw materials dealer.

Gameplay blends several distinct styles into a non-linear experience. Exploration and puzzle-solving occur in a 2D point-and-click adventure format within the city, where interaction with characters is key. The player can acquire equipment such as weapons and ammunition, and even modify a wrist computer called B.O.B. for various functions. Travel between locations and combat sequences are handled through separate mini-games, which can be approached with either strategic planning or challenging real-time reflexes.

This hybrid design extends to spacefaring, where the player can eventually purchase a ship. The space combat segment functions as a simplified version of a space trading and combat simulator. The overall structure is open, allowing the player to engage with its mix of adventure, strategy, and arcade-style elements in a flexible manner.
