About Adventures of Beetlejuice: Skeletons in the Closet

Adventures of Beetlejuice: Skeletons in the Closet is an action title where the player controls Beetlejuice. The primary objective involves confronting skeletal enemies using a projectile weapon system. Initial combat capability is limited to firing a single projectile, described as a loogie, at these foes.

Defeated skeletons yield bonuses that can alter combat effectiveness. Collecting these may grant additional projectiles per shot or provide access to entirely different weapons. A secondary character, Lidia, participates by using a vacuum cleaner to collect the remains left behind after an enemy is hit.

Lidia's role introduces a risk, as she can be captured by skeletons and imprisoned. Freeing her requires the player to defeat another skeleton and obtain a specific lightning bonus from its remains. An environmental hazard in the form of a worm periodically emerges, and contact with it results in immediate death for the player character.
