About A.R.S.E.N.A.L Taste the Power

A.R.S.E.N.A.L Taste the Power is a shareware real-time strategy title that shares common genre foundations with contemporaries like base building and resource management. Its setting is a fictional alternate history of World War II, where European allies resist a Communist invasion. The game distinguishes itself through specific logistical systems, such as a fuel requirement for all vehicles that necessitates maintaining a supply network, and a unit experience system that rewards preserving and repairing veteran forces.

Progression through the game is structured and challenging. Initial access is gated behind a ten-mission tutorial, which must be partially completed to unlock custom games and fully completed to achieve the rank needed for the campaign mode. The two main campaigns, each comprising ten missions, present a significant increase in difficulty compared to the introductory scenarios. For standalone matches, a custom game mode offers randomly generated maps and a choice of five factions, most of which possess a unique special weapon despite sharing a common core technology.

Technical features include support for various high-resolution displays, which can be adjusted during gameplay. The shareware version imposes several limitations: there is no music, saving and loading is disabled, and access to advanced units and technologies is restricted. These features, along with a CD soundtrack, are included in the registered release. The game does not include any multiplayer functionality.
