About WarpSpeed

WarpSpeed is a space combat simulation where the player assumes the role of a starpilot defending bases from alien warships. The action is viewed from the cockpit of one of four selectable starfighters.

Each vessel is outfitted with core systems for combat and navigation, including weapons, shields, and engines. These components are vulnerable to damage from both enemy fire and environmental hazards like asteroids. For strategic awareness, the ship carries a Long Range Scanner that displays enemy positions across a map divided into 64 sectors.

Communication is handled through a Hyperwave Receiver, allowing contact with both the alien forces and the player's own command. The game structures its missions across several distinct battle scenarios and a separate campaign mode.
