About Toys

Toys is an isometric action game adapted from a 1992 film. The narrative centers on the Zevo Toys factory, where the founder's attempt to teach his son a lesson backfires. Control of the company passes to a militaristic uncle, who perverts its purpose by producing dangerous weaponized toys. The founder's son, Leslie, must now reclaim the factory.

Gameplay involves navigating three main factory areas to disable security cameras, each protected by various hostile toys. These defenders include vehicles like jeeps and tanks, along with creatures such as pogo stick bears and explosive balloons. Non-camera zones also contain threats like walking bombs and slime creatures. To counter these, Leslie is equipped with an arsenal of playful weapons provided by his cousin, ranging from a water gun to custard pies.

The primary objective in each camera area is to first eliminate its active guards. Once cleared, the camera itself must be disabled by spraying its lens with water, a task made challenging by the camera's movement and defensive laser. After destroying all cameras, a final sequence involves piloting a toy plane through a model of Manhattan to reach the general's office and end his scheme.
