About Tecmo Secret of the Stars

Tecmo Secret of the Stars is a role-playing game where players control a boy named Ray. His peaceful island life is disrupted by the threat of Homncruise, a wizard with plans for world conquest. To confront this enemy, Ray must recover his father's magic crest and assemble the Aquitallion, a group of legendary warriors.

Gameplay involves navigating a world map to enter towns and dungeons. Combat is turn-based and uses a first-person perspective, a system comparable to the Dragon Quest series. A distinctive feature is the management of two separate parties. The primary Aquitallion group is essential for advancing the story, while secondary parties can be deployed to explore optional areas and gather items.

Progression is structured, requiring specific objectives to be met before the final confrontation. Later in the adventure, players gain the ability to construct and oversee their own town. The game presents a challenging path, as building a capable team and gathering necessary resources are prerequisites for facing the main antagonist.
