Review
Also known as
Super Tennis World Circuit スーパーテニス ワールドサーキット

This tennis game features a Circuit mode where you compete for the top ranking. Its responsive controls offer a fair challenge.

Super Tennis was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in Japan on August 30, 1991, and in North America in November 1991. This is the original release of the game on any platform, so both release_year and original_release_year are 1991.

About Super Tennis

Super Tennis presents a simulation of professional tennis competition. Players choose from a roster of twenty athletes, each possessing distinct tactical strengths and weaknesses, and can compete in singles or doubles matches. These matches support play against human opponents or computer-controlled players across the three primary court surfaces: clay, grass, and hardcourt.

The central progression system is a world circuit mode, which utilizes a password for saving progress. This mode involves participating in a series of international tournaments. Performance in these events, specifically winning matches, awards points that determine the player's standing in the global rankings. The tournament structure includes four major championships alongside numerous minor events.
