This side-scrolling shooter has four bounty hunters with smooth controls and challenging boss fights.

Sunset Riders was originally released in arcades by Konami in 1991. The SNES version was released in 1993.

About Sunset Riders

Sunset Riders is set in a lawless Wild West dominated by a single criminal figure. This antagonist, Sir Richard Rose, has consolidated control over key regional industries, including mining and ranching, giving him the potential to own the entire territory.

Four protagonists named Steve, Bob, Billy, and Cormano form a pact to oppose this control. Their shared goal is to eliminate Rose and restore freedom to the region, acting as the titular Sunset Riders in this conflict.

The scenario presents a desperate populace awaiting rescue, with the riders arriving at a critical moment. The narrative leads toward a climactic confrontation, framed as a significant shootout within the setting.
