About Spirou

Spirou is a Super Nintendo platformer adapted from the Franco-Belgian comic series. The narrative follows the journalist Spirou, who must rescue the inventor Count of Champignac after he is kidnapped by the villainous robot Cyanida during an event in New York.

Gameplay involves navigating Spirou through more than a dozen side scrolling stages, which include urban environments, a subway, a toy store, and Palombian wilderness areas. The character can perform actions such as jumping, climbing, and running, with a projectile weapon becoming available in the fourth level to contend with growing enemy numbers.

The player faces a challenging task, as progress is limited to three lives with no continue options. A single password is provided upon completing the initial half of the adventure, allowing for a restart from that point.
