Review
Also known as
Great Soccer Kid Soccer Kid: Feets of Fury!! The Adventures of Kid Kleets グレートサッカーキッド サッカーキッド

A platformer where you use a soccer ball to defeat enemies and recover the stolen World Cup pieces.

Soccer Kid was originally released in 1993 for the Amiga, and the SNES version was also released in 1993 (in Japan as Great Soccer Kid). The SNES version is a port of the original game, so the original release year is also 1993.

About Soccer Kid

Soccer Kid is a platform game where the player's primary weapon is a soccer ball, used to defeat opponents. The narrative involves an alien theft of the World Cup that has gone awry, leaving its fragments dispersed across several nations.

Progress requires the collection of 11 Player Cards within each major world region, which are Britain, Italy, Russia, Japan, and the United States. Mastery of ball control, including headers and overhead kicks, is a central gameplay mechanic.

The game allows progress to be saved upon completing a country, though this feature is not available during individual levels within those regions. The player's objective is a global journey to reassemble the trophy.
