Control two joysticks to survive deadly arenas, blast enemies, and collect cash prizes.

Smash T.V. was originally released in arcades in 1990. The SNES version was released in 1992.

About Smash T.V.

Smash T.V. is a shoot-em-up where players control combatants in a violent television contest. The setting is a series of arenas populated by numerous hostile creatures and robots.

Gameplay involves using a two-joystick control method to navigate these environments, which creates a challenging and frantic pace. The objective is to eliminate all enemies while collecting cash and prizes such as consumer electronics and vacations.

This title was developed by Eugene Jarvis, who also created Robotron: 2084, and it shares a similar style of play. It incorporates graphic violence and satirical elements, and supports a two-player cooperative mode.
